Circumnavigation Blog

On My 14th, I will be leaving Dayton, OH to head to Vladivostok, Russia. It is in the Far East region of Russia that is the closest city I can visit to the northern border of North Korea, which is the region of my grandfather's birth. From there, I will head west towards Moscow, stopping in Khabarovsk, Ulan-Ude, Lake Baikal, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, and Moscow. I will be ending the journey with a 3-week residency in Portugal before flying back to Ohio, hence circumnavigating the globe in the opposite direction to the earth's rotation.
